Care That Doesn't Depend on the Weather or the Drive
A February appointment shouldn't hinge on lake-effect snow or a 90-minute drive down US-131. Dr. Shakeilla Smithbey, MD, treats Michigan patients entirely by secure video — Detroit, Warren, Sterling Heights, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Flint, Kalamazoo, Traverse City, Marquette, and the small towns between them.
Most of Michigan runs on Eastern Time, which puts appointments at 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM ET, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. If you're in the four western U.P. counties on Central Time, that's 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM your clock.
At Tree of Life Integrative Family Medicine, healthcare goes beyond treating symptoms. We combine evidence-based primary care with lifestyle medicine and integrative healthcare principles — looking at nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, relationships, and emotional well-being — to address the whole person, not just the disease.
